Midterm Break

After two long months back at school, the Midterm break was much welcomed in the Quinn household. No 6.30 alarms to be set, no commuting, …
no school!! Just time for chats, a few movies in front if the fire and extra cuddles, of course.

I took the three big guys (twins aged 8 & a 5 year old) to my parents’ for a couple of days. The grandparents were more excited than the boys. Mam had been to Tesco and got the Daily Mirror Lego bags so they had lots to keep them busy.

We managed to get lots fitted in – yummy lunch in Avoca Kilmacanogue, a couple of trips downtown in Dun Laoghaire and Dundrum on the way home. We had planned a Luas trip but that wasn’t to be this time. Next time definitely, as well as the Natural History Museum (or Dead Zoo 🙂 ).

The Dundrum trip had the boys thrilled with both seeing a life-size Lego Woody figure….

..but also this dinosaur made entirely from wooden coat hangers that was in Harvey Nick’s window. Very impressive.
